Social Petworking Month, National Adopt a Cat Month, and National Foster a Pet month!

It’s Social Petworking Month, which runs through the entire month of June, is an opportunity to use social media to help pets find permanent homes. You can help by sharing adoptable animals, assisting rescues and shelters, and urging your friends, family, and followers to get involved. I’ll be sharing adoptable pets on the Kuri K9 Massage Facebook and Instagram accounts periodically throughout the month. Let’s all get posting to find some worthy adoptable animals their forever homes!

And not only that, it’s also National Adopt a Cat Month in June! Since June is considered kitten season, a lot of cats end up homeless when their owners are unable to find them a home. Seeing this influx of kittens in shelters is why many campaigns for cat adoption started in June.

AND it’s National Foster a Pet--dedicated to pet fostering across the country in order to share information and to raise awareness about the benefits of fostering animals.
