The book and the project are in honour of Benjamin, Malcolm N. Bernstein's rescue dog, and are in place to help raise money for shelters, and to bring awareness about animal abuse and neglect.
From the website: Save the date! The Toronto Humane Society’s annual Christmas Bazaar and Pet Pics with Santa will be taking place on December 6th this year, and I know you won’t want to miss out!
Come down to 11 River Street between 10am and 4pm on December 6th to surround yourself with all things festive! We will have a fantastic arts & crafts sale in our boardroom and a decadently delightful bake sale in our lobby. And of course the big man himself – Santa Claus – will be on site to take pictures with all of the good little cats and dogs. For just $20 you can snag a professional photo shoot for your pet and keep the shots on your very own Toronto Humane Society USB drive. All proceeds will come right back to the Toronto Humane Society to help us promote the humane care and protection of all animals, and to prevent cruelty and suffering. Donations of tasty treats and gently used or new items for the Bazaar are still needed, contact Makyla Deleo for more information [email protected] |
