From brownpapertickets.com: Set in the Iconic Fairmont Royal Hotel, Woodside Productions Presents Feline Festivus - Festival of Comedy with Amanda Day, Leonard Chan, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, Chris Locke, Phil Luzi, Erin Keaney, Gwynne Phillips, Daniel Woodrow and Host Steven Mann
Woodside Productions in support of The Annex Cat Rescue and The Toronto Humane Society, presents a holiday fundraiser to support homeless and feral cats through fostering, feeding programs and veterinary care. Woodside Productions inaugural show, Caturday Night Live a comedy show and cat food drive in July 2014 sold out with people waiting for rush tickets, raising $2380 CAD and a ton of food for homeless cats. We hope to triple this amount for Feline Festivus Festival of Comedy. In Toronto it is estimated that there are as many as 100,000 homeless cats that desperately need our help. Life on the streets can be harsh for cats due to starvation, disease, abuse and attacks from predators. With our foster homes currently full we are looking for new volunteers to help us get more cats off the street this winter. Our goal for Feline Festivus Festival of Comedy is to raise more money for veterinary care and awareness in the community. Please help us to give a cat a Christmas. Spread the word. Donate.
