Diamond is Available for Adoption from the Annex Cat Rescue!

Hi. I'm Diamond. I am a sweet, grateful girl. My rescuers brought me in from the cold about a year ago. I and my kittens were crossing a very busy road every day scrounging for fish scraps near a local restaurant. I am so happy to be inside and am waiting for my forever home.

It takes me a little while to trust but, when I do, I will show you my love and affection. I like being petted and having my neck scratched. I have the cutest face and will sit and look at you admiringly. I don't like being picked up and am not a lap cat and may never be but I am a great companion. I am just looking for a quiet home with no children to share with someone. I need a sanctuary room to use while I get adjusted to my new home.

I am FIV+ which means that I have a lower immune system, that being said FIV+ cats can live a long and healthy life! FIV primarily spreads through bites, but I've been known to be very friendly with other kitties! I would prefer being adopted into a home with a male buddy cat because I love having company, but would also be okay with an adopter that spends a lot of time at home. I need an adopter with experience, ideally with semi-feral cats, who will understand that I can still get scared and need time to adjust to a new environment.
