Carla is a shy, but sweet kitty looking for someone patient to love! She takes a while to warm up to you, but once she does it's the greatest feeling ever. Carla is a huge fan of pats behind the ear and will run towards the sound of a box of treats. She loves early morning and late night cuddles, and loves hiding under blankets. Carla is a chatty girl and loves to talk! She loves playing with ball-like objects and can be heard playing with her toys in the night when she isn't sleeping by her foster's feet or shoulder. Carla is litter box trained and has never had an accident, does not claw or bite, and sheds a minimal amount. Carla has mild mitral valve dysplasia. She does not require any medication at this time, but will need annual cardiac ultrasounds. She may eventually need treatment, but is currently asymptomatic. Carla will need time and space to adjust to her new environment and you should wait for her to come to you. She can be a bit skittish around loud noises. She will need a patient adopter who will let her come out of her shell on her own time. She would match well with someone older in age, who would be at home a lot, and who does not have other pets. Check out the rest of Carla's info on the ACR Site!
