Hello. My name is Boots and I'm a 4-year-old kitten-at-heart. My rescuer named me after the white spots on my paws, but my foster mom calls me a princess for my regal appearance. After spending most of my life fending for myself on the streets, I was brought inside by Annex Cat Rescue. It was a little difficult to adjust in the start but now I am very happy! I get all the soft plush ball toys in the world to play soccer with all day and night. I'm a regular David Beckham! I sleep on a soft comfy bed with my foster mom and my cat friends at night, stare out the window at all the cars passing by, and get all the pets and scritches I want. I'm still adjusting to being indoors and can get a little scared when I hear loud noises or see sudden movements but I'm working on facing my fears. If my foster mom moves too fast and scares me into hiding under the couch, I come out right after like the brave kitten I am. One day, I will not run away at all. New faces are also scary, and it takes me time to get used to them, unless they have snacks. I love nomming on treats and will eat them out of a stranger's hand if they stay still. And to say thank you, I lick their fingers clean after the snacks have been nommed. I taught myself how to use an enclosed litter box and drink from a water fountain by observing my two foster brothers. They are nice to have around but no match for my cuteness! My foster mom tells me every day that I am the prettiest with the cutest squeaky meows. It is a hard reputation to keep up so I make sure to meow and purr a lot at my foster mom every day and always groom to look my best. After spending a few months adjusting with my foster family, I'm ready to find my furever home! Contact the Annex Cat Rescue for more information on Boots!
